New International Trade Practice Center Offers Comprehensive Resources For Trading With Key Global Markets

ARLINGTON, VA (October 15, 2018) — Bloomberg Law’s newest enhancement to its legal technology platform is its International Trade Practice Center, a dedicated resource focused on import-export developments and compliance issues. The practice center combines time-saving tools and practical guidance, including market-leading import and export reference guides, 220-plus country profiles, customizable chart builders, global news and analysis, and checklists for trading with key U.S. trading partners across the globe. As with all enhancements made to its platform, Bloomberg Law offers the International Trade Practice Center at no additional cost to all current Bloomberg Law subscribers.

Among the features available on the International Trade Practice Center are:

  • Case law and dockets for the Court of International Trade, Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and the U.S. International Trade Commission as well as trade-related decisions by U.S. Customs and Border Protection;
  • In-depth news coverage of U.S. trade law, policies, and developments from reliable sources, written by correspondents based in key international cities;
  • Trade treatises, such as the Getting the Deal Through Trade & Customs series, for key trading partners;
  • Workflow integration with Bloomberg Law’s full complement of resources, including Litigation Analytics, Points of Law, compliance content and company profiles.

“Our new International Trade Practice Center enables practitioners to stay ahead of all domestic and global international trading developments through streamlined access to primary law sources, news, agency materials, export and import guidance, and practical tools,” said Alex Butler, vice president of content and analysis for Bloomberg Law. “The development of this resource is part of our ongoing commitment to delivering a platform that helps in-house counsel and their external law-firm advisors and associates be more efficient and effective.”
