Bloomberg Law Named Legal AI Leader by National Law Journal
ARLINGTON, VA (Feb. 2, 2018) — Bloomberg Law today announced it was named to National Law Journal’s inaugural list of Legal AI Leaders 2018. The business intelligence and legal research platform was recognized for its Points of Law tool and its position as a legal industry leader in artificial intelligence.
Points of Law, introduced in September, is a revolutionary new solution that leverages artificial intelligence technologies to dramatically accelerate case law research. Using machine learning, it identifies the statements of law within a court opinion and surfaces the most cited, most relevant, and most recent cases related to those statements.
“One of the fundamental tenets behind Bloomberg Law is technological innovation, and we pride ourselves on being a market leader in artificial intelligence and data analytics,” said Scott Mozarsky, president of Bloomberg Law. “We are honored to be recognized by National Law Journal in AI, and we’ll continue to ensure our customers have the latest tools and technology at their fingertips to better navigate the practice and business of law.”
