Amanda Allen leads the Regulatory & Compliance team of experts, who bring subject matter backgrounds to the dynamic environment of corporate compliance and develop Practical Guidance tools and in-depth, data-backed analysis across a variety of regulatory and enforcement practice areas. A graduate of the University of Chicago, Amanda earned her JD from the William S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawai'i.
Susie Bokermann
Susan (Susie) Bokermann leads the Corporate analysis team. Her team focuses on a broad range of issues including environmental, social, and governance matters; shareholder matters; bankruptcy; and other corporate law topics. Her team is responsible for developing Practical Guidance and data-driven analysis for in-house attorneys, as well as the corporate attorneys advising public companies and their boards. Susie received her BA from Georgetown University and her JD from American University, Washington College of Law.
Raquel Bracho
Raquel Bracho is a Legal Analyst on the Transactions team focusing on health transactions and commercial contracts. Raquel has spent more than 10 years drafting, negotiating, and reviewing a broad range of contracts. She has advised corporations and non-profits, including a university, on corporate, healthcare, technology, regulatory, and compliance matters. Raquel is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University (BA, Public Health) and the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law (JD, certificate in Health Law).

Preston Brewer
Preston Brewer is a Legal Analyst on the Transactional team, with an emphasis on capital markets. Previously, he was an Attorney-Adviser with the SEC focusing on biotech IPOs. His law firm experience includes corporate and securities and debt trading. Preston has an LL.M. in Securities and Financial Regulation from Georgetown, a JD from USC, and a BA from UC Santa Barbara.
Rob Brown
Rob Brown is a Legal Analyst on the Legal Markets team, focusing on legal operations and legal technology. He previously served as an attorney working on matters involving international trade, pharmaceutical, FCPA and cybersecurity data breach issues. He also has extensive legal experience as an e-Discovery specialist. He received his BA from Michigan State University and his JD from the University of Iowa College of Law.
Dylan Bruce
Dylan Bruce is a Legal Analyst on the Corporate team. Prior to joining Bloomberg Law, he was Managing Editor for Bloomberg Environment, where he led an analysis team covering environmental, health, and safety compliance and corporate sustainability. He currently focuses on corporate environmental, social, and governance matters, developing Practical Guidance and data-driven analysis. Dylan received his B.A. from the University of North Carolina Asheville and his J.D. from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law.
Grace Burnett
Grace Maral Burnett is a Legal Analyst on the Transactional team, with a focus on M&A. Previously, she was an M&A lawyer at Turunc law firm in Istanbul, where her practice focused on inbound and outbound M&A transactions and greenfield investment projects. At Turunc, she regularly advised multinationals and private equity funds on deals. Previously, Grace worked on business and employment disputes as a litigation associate at Leftwich LLC. Grace received her JD and BA degrees from American University.
Alex Butler
Alex Butler is Vice President of Analysis & Content on the Bloomberg Law executive team leading teams of expert analysts, legal specialists and data scientists focused upon legal developments that drive the economy, including litigation, transactions, regulatory and compliance, and the legal market itself. Alex has more than 25 years of legal tech leadership experience in early-stage and global organizations. Alex received his BA from American University and his MBA from Villanova University.
Robert Combs
Robert Combs is a Legal Analyst on the Regulatory & Compliance team with a focus on labor and employment issues. In more than 20 years at Bloomberg Law, Robert has extensively analyzed the impact of labor trends and employment law developments on U.S. workplaces. Robert has an MS in Journalism from Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University and graduated with a BA in English from Denison University.
Denis Demblowski
Denis Demblowski is a Legal Analyst on the Transactional team, with a focus on commercial transactions and corporate law. He practiced in-house for 32 years in such areas as compliance, corporate, executive compensation, finance, corporate governance, general commercial, international, M&A, and securities. Denis held managerial and legal practice leadership positions in Alcoa Inc., a global manufacturing and industrial company. Denis is a graduate of Duquesne University and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
Sansanee Dhanasarnsombat
Sansanee Dhanasarnsombat is a Legal Analyst on the Corporate team, focusing on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) and sustainability. Previously, she worked for an environmental consulting firm, where she tracked regulatory developments and advised Fortune 500 companies in several sectors. She also worked for a law firm based in Thailand, where she advised companies on corporate and securities laws. She received her LL.M. from Georgetown University and Boston University, and LL.B. from Chulalongkorn University.
Jeff Fuller
Jeff Fuller is a Legal Analyst on the Corporate Team, focusing on bankruptcy and financial restructuring. His experience includes over a decade of work as an attorney in chapter 11 bankruptcy cases nationwide, representing debtors, secured creditors, creditor committees, trustees, franchisees, landlords and others. Jeff received his B.A. from Davidson College, his M.A. from the University of Mississippi and his J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law.
Dori Goldstein
Dori Goldstein is a Legal Analyst on the Regulatory & Compliance team, focusing on labor and employment compliance issues. Dori has spent more than 10 years analyzing a broad range of labor and employment topics, including EEO, wage and hour, leave, and benefits. Dori is an attorney with a JD from the University of Dayton School of Law.
Diane Holt
Diane Holt is the Team Lead for Transactional. Her team is responsible for developing Practical Guidance and data-driven analysis for transactional lawyers. Previously, she worked as transactional counsel for Enel, SpA, the Italian electric monopoly, in Rome, Italy; consultant to Central European regional operations in transition; and manager of Central European Advisory Group, the regional legal and business consultancy. A graduate of Wesleyan University, she earned her JD at the University of Michigan. Diane speaks Spanish, Italian, French and Czech.
Molly Huie
Molly Huie is the Team Lead for Data Analysis & Surveys, specializing in research design, custom surveys, statistics, and data science. Previously, she worked for Forrester Research managing global, syndicated surveys, primarily in the financial space. Molly has a BA from Butler University and an MS from the State University of New York (SUNY).
Kristyn Hyland
Kristyn Hyland is the Director of Analysis at Bloomberg Law, with more than 15 years' experience in the legal research and technology industry. As Director of Analysis, Kristyn oversees a team of highly experienced legal analysts focused on developing data-driven content in the areas of litigation, transactional law, regulatory & compliance, and legal department operations & markets. Kristyn received her BA from Haverford College and her JD from Washington University School of Law.
John Irons
John Irons is the Data Visualization Manager for the Data Analysis and Surveys team. He has over 20 years' experience as a graphic artist, and before joining Bloomberg, spent nearly a decade designing graphs and charts for CQ Roll Call and National Journal.
Robert Kim
Robert Kim is a Legal Analyst on the Regulatory & Compliance team, with a focus on anti-money laundering/combating the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT), and other financial crimes issues, as well as blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies. Prior to joining Bloomberg Law, he served as an associate with Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy, a senior counsel on the Securities and Exchange Commission staff, manager of the Bank Secrecy Act regulatory enforcement program for the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, and Deputy Treasury Attaché at U.S. Embassy Baghdad.
Sara Lord
Sara Lord leads the Legal Markets analysis team, which focuses on providing Practical Guidance tools and in-depth, data-backed analysis relating to legal operations and a variety of other emerging issues in the legal profession. Sara has a decade of experience in data analysis and law firm experience in practice areas including antitrust, general litigation, bankruptcy, and transactional. She earned a BS in finance from the University of Connecticut and a JD from New York University School of Law.
Jennifer Marsh
Jennifer Marsh is a Legal Analyst on the Litigation Analysis team. She has been with Bloomberg since 2008, and has over a decade of experience in legal technology and analytics. Prior to joining Bloomberg, she practiced as an intellectual property and general litigation attorney at WilmerHale and Riker, Danzig, Scherer, Hyland and Perretti, where she primarily focused on matters involving trademark, copyright, software/technology, and internet issues. Jennifer has a J.D. from Seton Hall Law School and a BFA from New York University.
Linda Ouyang
Linda Ouyang is a Data and Research Analyst on the Data Analysis and Surveys team. Previously, she conducted data analysis at a public policy think tank, building knowledge to better support marginalized populations with a focus on education. She has a B.A. in psychology from the University of Maryland.

Jacquelyn Palmer
Jacquelyn Palmer is a Data and Research Analyst on the Data Analysis & Surveys Team. Previously, she worked for IBM Watson Health providing technical assistance to increase data analytic capacity. Jacquelyn received her MA in Experimental Psychology from Towson University and BA in Psychology from UNC Greensboro.
Annie Pavia
Annie Pavia is a Legal Analyst on the Legal Operations & Markets team, focusing on legal operations and litigation. She has been with Bloomberg Law since 2016, and prior to that practiced as a litigation associate with Latham & Watkins for five years. Annie has a JD from the University of Virginia and a BA from the College of William and Mary.
Ricard Pochkhanawala
Ricard is a Legal Analyst on the Litigation team. For over a decade, he practiced as a litigator and research lawyer at international law firms. As a research lawyer, or “lawyer’s lawyer,” Ricard advised other lawyers and clients on novel issues of law and lines of argument. He also has experience in the non-profit sector. Ricard holds degrees from Duke University and the Washington University in St. Louis School of Law.

Teadra Pugh
Teadra Pugh is Legal Analyst on the Corporate team, with an emphasis on bankruptcy and distressed debt workouts. Previously, she worked as an analyst for a startup technology firm and practiced law as a bankruptcy attorney. Her legal experience includes both creditor and debtor representation. Teadra holds a JD from Vanderbilt and a BA from Spelman College.
Peter Rasmussen
Peter Rasmussen is a Legal Analyst concentrating on corporate transactions and federal securities law, with more than 20 years' experience in the legal research and technology industry. He has a BA from DePauw University, an MA in history from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and a JD from the University of Illinois College of Law.
Mindy Rattan
Mindy Rattan is the Team Lead for Litigation. She leads a team of former litigators who develop Practical Guidance and analysis. Before assuming that role, Mindy was a legal ethics reporter for Bloomberg Law. Mindy practiced law for 16 years as a commercial litigator, but also litigated patent, antitrust, government contract, and bankruptcy matters. She also counseled colleagues and clients regarding legal ethics issues. Mindy is a graduate of Duke University and the University of Maryland School of Law.
Katie Sear
Katie Sear is a Legal Analyst on the Litigation team. She has been at Bloomberg Law since 2014, focusing on litigation and financial enforcement and regulation matters. Prior to joining Bloomberg Law, Katie was a litigation associate at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP. Katie has a BA and a JD from the University of Virginia.
Mark Smith
Mark Smith is a Legal Analyst on the Regulatory & Compliance team, focusing on privacy and data security. He covers federal, state, and international privacy law developments, including the CCPA and the GDPR. He is a graduate of Loyola College and the University of Maryland School of Law, and he holds two certifications (CIPP/US, CIPP/C) from the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
Eleanor Tyler
Eleanor Tyler is a Legal Analyst on the Litigation team, with a focus on antitrust. Previously, she spent seven years reporting for Bloomberg Law's antitrust news desk. Before joining Bloomberg Law in 2010, Eleanor was a litigation associate at a large law firm. She clerked for the Hon. Simeon Lake in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Her JD is from Georgetown University, and she holds an MA in international affairs from Johns Hopkins SAIS.
