Amanda Allen
Amanda Allen leads the Regulatory & Compliance team of experts, who bring subject matter backgrounds to the dynamic environment of corporate compliance and develop Practical Guidance tools and in-depth, data-backed analysis across a variety of regulatory and enforcement practice areas. A graduate of the University of Chicago, Amanda earned her JD from the William S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawai'i.

Peter Anderson, Esq.
Peter Anderson is the Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer of Carnival Corporation & plc (“Carnival Corp.”), which is one of the largest cruise lines in the world, comprised of nine different brands, which operate over 100 ships, and which employs over 150,000 employees from all over the globe. He also sits on the Executive Leadership Team and oversees the Corporation’s global Ethics & Compliance (“E&C”) Program.
The E&C Program is comprised of various leaders at the Corporation’s All Brands Group (“ABG” or Headquarters), as well as the Ethics & Compliance Officers who are embedded in each of the four operating groups. Aligned with the risk-profile, the E&C Program priorities include environmental; health, safety and security; as well as general compliance topics. The Team also includes leaders in the critical areas of Investigations, Compliance Risk, Compliance Training and Compliance Communications.

Cesca Antonelli
Cesca Antonelli was named editor-in-chief of Bloomberg Industry Group in 2018. She most recently served as a senior executive editor at Bloomberg News, where she was responsible for data visualization, graphics, and visual media.
Antonelli spent 19 years with Bloomberg News as a reporter and editor in five bureaus, and ran teams around the world. At Bloomberg News, Antonelli helped build the company news coverage in the Americas and throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. She was Washington bureau chief and managed the company’s global “front page,” Top Worldwide.
Before joining Bloomberg, she was a reporter at business newspapers in San Francisco and Pittsburgh. Antonelli has a bachelor’s degree in journalism and Latin American history from the University of Pittsburgh.

Elizabeth Sheyn Brown
Elizabeth (Liz) Sheyn Brown, is Acting General Counsel at CSC Generation Holdings, Inc., which owns several brands in the home goods and furnishings space (Z Gallerie, One Kings Lane, Sur La Table, and DirectBuy) and focuses on making traditional companies digital first. In this role, Liz leads a team of lawyers and legal professionals handling a wide variety of legal matters across all company locations (U.S./Canada/Mexico). Prior to joining CSC Generation Holdings, Inc., Liz was in-house counsel at Groupon, Inc. and Dover Corporation, focusing primarily in the areas of corporate compliance, labor and employment, privacy, and risk management. Prior to working in-house, Liz was an attorney at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where she specialized in complex commercial litigation and government and internal investigations. Liz graduated from the University of Chicago and the University of Pennsylvania Law School and served as a judicial law clerk for federal judges in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

Vivia Chen
Vivia Chen is a recognized journalist with over 20 years of experience covering the legal industry. She writes the “Unfiltered” column at Bloomberg Legal. Previously, she wrote the highly popular Careerist column at The American Lawyer. Vivia often turns her sharp focus on women and minorities in the legal arena. She regularly challenges the profession to improve the promotion of female and lawyers of color in its ranks, calling out firms that fall short.
Vivia has received several honors for opinion writing, including awards from The American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE) and the Jesse H. Neal Awards. Last year, Lawyers of Color named Vivia to its "2020 Power List" that recognizes "the most influential minority attorneys in the nation." Born in Taiwan and raised in Houston, Vivia is a graduate of Williams College and New York University School of Law.

Marcy Sharon Cohen
Ms. Cohen serves as managing director and chief legal officer of ING Americas with offices in the U.S., Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and Colombia. Her responsibilities include managing the legal function, providing leadership, guidance and support to ING globally in major strategic initiatives, corporate governance, regulatory affairs, transactional matters and acquisitions as well as serving as a member of the Americas Management Team, Risk and Compliance Committees, and ING’s Global Legal Management Team. Ms. Cohen is a founding member of the ING NY Lioness Group whose mission is fostering diversity and inclusion and responsible for career development initiatives.
Ms. Cohen received a B.A. from Herbert H. Lehman College and a J.D. from New York Law School. She is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States and is a member of the New York State Bar.

Richard Edelman
Richard Edelman is the CEO of Edelman, a global communications firm. The firm was named to Advertising Age’s 2019 A-List and was honored as “PR Agency of the Decade” by both Advertising Age and The Holmes Report.
Richard has extensive experience in marketing and reputation management, having led assignments with major corporations, NGOs and family businesses. He has advised senior executives through significant disruptions within their organizations, including Samsung and United Airlines. He has counseled countries in every region of the world on economic development programs. As the creator of the annual Edelman Trust Barometer, Richard has become one of the foremost authorities on trust in business, government, media and NGOs.
Richard earned his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 1978 and a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard College in 1976.

Rhonda Foxx
Rhonda Foxx is the Head of Social Equity Policy and Engagements for Intel Corporation. She is also the founder of HBCU House, a platform connecting students to careers in tech. She ran for US Congress in 2020 after serving for five years as Chief of Staff to Congresswoman Alma Adams.
As a Congressional staffer, Rhonda was instrumental in the push to diversify Capitol Hill. She launched the Hill’s Diversity in Tech Summit and co-founded the Black Women’s Congressional Alliance. Through these organizations, Rhonda spearheaded the inaugural diversity recruitment event for new Members of Congress, Politico magazine’s bipartisan Salute to Women Chiefs of Staff, and the Women on the Rise awards. In 2019, Essence magazine honored Rhonda as one of the top 100 women affecting change. Her efforts have been covered by Shondaland, CNN, Forbes, Politico, Roll Call, the National Journal, and McClatchy.
Before joining Congresswoman Adams’ office, Rhonda was the interim Campaign Manager and Finance Director to Red to Blue candidate Erin Bilbray (NV) and Director of Operations for Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson (TX). She has served as a national and PAC fundraiser for Congresswomen Eddie Bernice Johnson (TX), Suzanne Bonamici (OR), and Yvette Clarke (NY). Rhonda began her political career as a finance staffer for Senator Kirsten Gillibrand. She earned her B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her law degree from the George Washington University Law School.

Laurie N. Robinson Haden
Laurie Robinson Haden is the President and CEO of Corporate Counsel Women of Color (CCWC), which she created in 2004 to advance women of color attorneys and foster diversity in the legal profession. In addition to her impactful work at CCWC, Laurie served for nearly two decades in multiple leadership roles at CBS Corporation including Senior Vice President and Assistant General Counsel. Laurie has been recognized by Lawyer of Color as one of the “Top Ten Black Lawyers of the Decade” and by Savoy magazine as one of the country’s “Most Influential Black Lawyers.” Laurie has certificates in entertainment media management from New York University and diversity and inclusion from Yale School of Management and Cornell University. She served on the board of the NAACP Legal Defense Fund for seven years and serves on the board of visitors of Indiana University School of Law Bloomington and North Carolina Central University Law School. Laurie received her Bachelor of Arts from North Carolina Central University (magna cum laude) and her Juris Doctor from Indiana University School of Law Bloomington.

Lisa Helem
Lisa Helem is the executive editor for strategic initiatives at Bloomberg Industry Group, where she develops editorial strategies focused on emerging audiences in the legal profession and works to expand brand engagement. Since joining the company in July 2020, Lisa has developed series including “They’ve Got Next” and “Making Partner in a Pandemic,” spotlighting young attorneys, and “The Black General Counsel Project,” which takes the pulse of top lawyers at Fortune 1000 companies. Previously, Lisa was the first African American editor-in-chief of The National Law Journal, where she oversaw publication of the NLJ magazine and special reports —including the NLJ 500 and The Appellate Hot List.
Over the course of her career, Lisa has worked tirelessly to drive news coverage that engages broad audiences, including diverse and young lawyers. In 2020, Lisa was named to Lawyers of Color’s 2020 “Power List,” which recognizes “the most influential minority attorneys in the nation.” In 2018, she was named to the Folio 100, which spotlights the media industry’s “best thought-leaders.” Earlier in her career, Lisa, a graduate of Duke University and the University of Michigan Law School, practiced commercial litigation at Vinson & Elkins. Lisa resides in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

Diane Holt
Diane Holt is the Team Lead for Transactional. Her team is responsible for developing Practical Guidance and data-driven analysis for transactional lawyers. Previously, she worked as transactional counsel for Enel, SpA, the Italian electric monopoly, in Rome, Italy; consultant to Central European regional operations in transition; and manager of Central European Advisory Group, the regional legal and business consultancy. A graduate of Wesleyan University, she earned her JD at the University of Michigan. Diane speaks Spanish, Italian, French and Czech.

Jillian C. Kirn
Jillian Kirn focuses her practice on complex environmental and energy litigation, regulatory compliance counseling, and resolution of environmental liabilities identified in the course of transactions. She has wide-ranging experience representing clients in litigation in state and federal courts and routinely assists clients with risk management matters in the context of project redevelopments, renewable energy transactions, and the acquisition, sale, and financing of contaminated real estate. Jillian regularly counsels clients regarding environmental issues arising from innovative projects and the development and implementation of sustainability, ESG, and environmental, health, and safety management programs.

Katrina S. Lindsey
Katrina S. Lindsey is the senior vice president, deputy general counsel and chief compliance officer for The ODP Corporation (“ODP”). In her role, Katrina assists with the daily management of the global legal department, leads the Company’s litigation team, serves as assistant secretary of ODP’s Board of Directors’ Audit Committee and is responsible for ensuring that the appropriate standards and procedures are in place to maintain the Company’s ethics and compliance program.
Prior to joining ODP, she served as senior vice president, division general counsel – employment law and dispute/litigation management for Darden Restaurants, Inc. in Orlando, Florida, where she was responsible for all of Darden’s litigation portfolio and provided supervisory leadership and direction to an in-house team of attorneys, paralegals and other legal associates. Prior to joining Darden, Katrina was in-house counsel at Walt Disney Parks and Resorts U.S., Inc., where her work also focused on litigation and employment law.
Katrina holds a Juris Doctor from Stetson University, College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Florida State University. Katrina is a member of the Florida Bar Association, Association of Corporate Counsel, and Corporate Counsel Women of Color.

Jo-el Meyer
Jo-el Meyer has spent her 21-year career at Bloomberg Industry Group climbing from a junior legal reporter covering employee benefits law, to her current position as a Bloomberg Law News Director. Along the way, she has held many titles and managed groups of all sizes. She is responsible for legal news covering such topics as ESG, corporate governance, labor and employment, health, intellectual property, employee benefits, bankruptcy, securities, and privacy.

Tracy O’Flaherty
Tracy O’Flaherty wears “many hats.” Tracy is vice president, deputy general counsel and chief compliance officer at Groupon, Inc. where she leads the global litigation, compliance, employment and regulatory functions. In addition, Tracy serves as the executive sponsor of the LEARN initiative of Groupon’s Diversity & Inclusion function to combat racism and will serve as the executive sponsor of Groupon’s Woman@Groupon Business Resource Group. Prior to Groupon, Tracy was the vice president, associate general counsel at Baxter Healthcare Corporation leading the global litigation, employment and benefit functions. Prior to joining Baxter, Tracy was a partner at Winston & Strawn, LLP.
In addition to her role at Groupon, Tracy is the senior vice president, programming and development in the WOMN LLC Chicago Region and leads its 12-month mentoring program. This program provides some of the world’s leading law firm’s top-talent women with leadership coaching on business development, networking, and communication skills to enable them to hone their skills and succeed in the “business of law.” Her true passion is helping top-talent individuals reach their highest potential.

Halimah DeLaine Prado
Halimah DeLaine Prado is General Counsel at Google, leading the company’s world-class legal team, advising on some of the most complex and important legal issues of the digital age. Prior to that, Halimah was a Vice President of Legal. In this role, she managed the Products and Agreements Legal team, a global legal team responsible for the product and commercial counsel advising of Google’s products, including Ads, Search, Cloud, Hardware, Platforms & Ecosystems, and YouTube. She has been with Google since 2006. Prior to joining Google, Halimah practiced media law and products liability law at Dechert LLP and Levine Sullivan Koch and Schulz, which has since merged with Balllard Spahr. She also clerked for the Honorable Mary A. McLaughlin of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Halimah obtained her J.D. from Georgetown, and her undergraduate degree from Yale.

Donald S. Prophete
Donald Prophete is a trial lawyer who excels at representing large clients in complex and multi-plaintiff race employment discrimination cases. He has handled many high-profile and high-damage cases in the sports, military contractor, and retail industries. Don has served as lead trial counsel in all types of employment disputes in federal and state courts including post-decertification wage and hour jury trials for major national employers.
Don’s practice encompasses all aspects of labor law and labor relations. He has extensive experience assisting the firm's clients in responding to union organizing campaigns, negotiating, and advising clients with respect to the administration of collective bargaining agreements and representing clients in grievance and arbitration proceedings. In addition to his litigation and labor law activities, Don's daily practice revolves significantly around providing advice and counsel to C-Suite executives on whistleblower and other matters in the following business sectors: Technology, retail, military contractors, and manufacturing.

Dev Stahlkopf
As corporate vice president and general counsel, Dev Stahlkopf leads Microsoft’s legal affairs group, consisting of more than 600 professionals supporting the company’s legal function. She is also the corporate secretary for the board of directors. Prior to becoming general counsel in 2018, Stahlkopf was vice president and deputy general counsel for the HR legal group. In this role, she was responsible for overseeing the company’s immigration, employment law, EEO investigations, and employment compliance teams. Stahlkopf joined Microsoft in 2007, and before becoming deputy general counsel for HR legal, she was associate general counsel responsible for the company’s employment law function.
Stahlkopf is a board member for the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD). She also serves on the Corporate Pro Bono Institute advisory board and sits on the Board of Directors for BSA.
