Email Administrator Approval
Overview
Some Microsoft accounts will require admin approval to use Dashboard Legal.
If you have followed the steps to link your email and receive a permissions error, follow this guide to get the proper approval.
Each permission scenario also contains instructions for your organization admin to follow, which you can send to them to get up and running as soon as possible.

- You will receive an email that the request is sent.
- When your request is approved, you will receive an email notifying you.

Microsoft Outlook admin user required
When you need it
If you see the below screen, that means that your Microsoft organization does not allow non-admins to use or request the use of third-party applications. Your organization does not use Microsoft’s built-in features to request permissions, so we’ll need to track down an administrator and have them sign up for Dashboard Legal.
To request access
- Find out who your Microsoft organization administrator is.
- Go to your organization settings and invite them to use Dashboard Legal.
- Reach out to them and have them register, then link their email. They may have some questions about email security, please send them our email security page and put them in touch with your Dashboard Legal representative if necessary.
- They can then authorize Dashboard Legal for their account, and also grant access to the rest of the users in your Microsoft organization.
- You may now both enjoy a streamlined email workflow together 🙂
